Tattoo Removal

Lasers are our safest method of tattoo removal. At The Cosmetic & Skin Surgery Center we can effectively remove all colors in a tattoo using the Versa Pulse cosmetic laser and the MedLite® C6 laser. A series of laser treatments breaks the tattoo pigment into smaller particles allowing your body to absorb the tattoo without harming the normal skin. Small tattoos can be surgically excised. Older carbon dioxide lasers can burn off a tattoo, but the cosmetic results are often poor. Results with intense pulsed light are less consistent. Make sure your doctor knows the difference.
