What is the SculpSure® procedure?
SculpSure is a breakthrough in non-surgical technology for body contouring. It’s designed to reduce unwanted and stubborn body fat in areas that won’t respond to diet and exercise.
What is the procedure like?
Most patients feel a tingling or warm sensation during treatment which is generally well tolerated.
What happens after the treatment?
The most common side effects may include: tenderness, redness, swelling, pain, bruising, and numbness. These should resolve within 1-2 weeks of your treatment.
What results should I expect?
On average, patients experience up to a 25% reduction of fat in the area treated within 6-12 weeks of their treatment. The majority of patients are satisfied with this result, although some will opt for a follow-up treatment 6 weeks after the first. Other patients are so happy that they decide to treat other areas of the body.
How long will my results last?
Treated fat cells are destroyed during the treatment and will not regenerate. With a proper diet and good exercise habits, we do not anticipate that you’ll require re-treatment.
How long before I can resume normal activities?
There is no downtime with SculpSure, so you can have the treatment during your lunch hour and resume daily activities immediately.
Is SculpSure right for me?
SculpSure is ideal for people with trouble spots, particularly those that seem resistant to diet and exercise.
What is the difference between weight loss and fat loss?
The number of fat cells in our body typically remains constant throughout our adult life. After the SculpSure treatment, the destroyed fat cells will not return. However, as we lose weight, the size of the fat cells becomes smaller, but typically do not decrease in number. Even with diet and exercise, many people have difficulty losing weight in these trouble areas.
