What Filler Is Best For Lips?

January 12, 2016 / / Newsletter

Many of us would love to have lips like a popular Kardashian sister, but we’re afraid to take the plunge.  Sometimes all we need is more information.  Keep reading for tips on our favorite lip filler and why we love it!*

Lips are delicate and soft and require an equally delicate and soft filler.  We love Juvederm® because*:

  • It’s silky smooth
  • Juvederm® doesn’t create bumps or nodules that look unnatural (or that you and your partner can feel!)
  • It doesn’t migrate or move over time
  • Juvederm® is made of hyaluronic acid, a naturally-occurring substance in the body
  • If you’re dissatisfied, the procedure is reversible

*Individual results may vary.

Frequently Asked Questions About Lip Augmentations:

Can I transfer my own fat to my lips to make them more full?

  • Fat transfers are not proven to last any longer than hyaluronic acid fillers and require a donor site from you.  Therefore, you’d have two wounds that require healing:  your lips and your fat donor site.  We prefer to limit treatment to just one site for faster healing time.*

Are implants an option for long-lasting lip augmentation?

  • Our experience has shown that lip implants present high risk to your delicate lip structure and the removal rates are high.  We prefer to use hyaluronic acid fillers, such as Juvederm®, for more satisfying and reliable results.*

*Individual results may vary.
